Everyone deserves a safe place to stay.

At Sahan Community Network, we help individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity access emergency shelters, transitional housing, and long-term support.

What We Can Help With

  1. Applying for City of Toronto emergency shelters
We guide you through the process and help gather the documents you need.

  2. Completing housing applications
Including Toronto Community Housing, Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI) housing, and other subsidized housing programs.

  3. Follow-up and advocacy
We help you track your application status and connect with housing caseworkers when needed.

  4. Referrals to transitional and supportive housing
For those who need more than just shelter, we connect you to programs that include mental health support, addiction recovery, or family reintegration.

  5. Temporary shelter for newcomers and refugee claimants
We assist newcomers in navigating shelter options tailored to immigration and settlement needs.
